Twenty years of making things that have to earn attention.
Gaming-team logos from a bedroom in Chester
Dodgy Photoshop, real clients. First lesson in making things people actually wanted.
Team shirts at European LANs
Designed and sold competitive kit for Counter-Strike teams across Europe. First paid job: £250 for an esports org in Denmark. Badly undersold, though I couldn't see it then. The cheapest expensive lesson in what creative work is worth.
From B2B print to live shopping
Joined as a web-and-print designer; left running the full spectrum: shoots, video, animation, live shopping broadcasts. The generalist years that made the strategist.
Motion designer → service builder
Taught myself performance creative and built a Chester agency's creative-strategy offering from nothing, for clients from Raleigh to Asprey.
US brands, real budgets
Creative strategist on 15+ US brands from the North Wales coast: CPK, European Wax Center, Sky Zone, Tommy John, Lovepop, Bealls. Scoped a $4M plan. Learned what scale demands from creative.
AdCreator
Founded my own practice and built an AI operating system around it, so one strategist ships agency output: strategy, production, reporting, research.
Off the clock
North Wales coast, with my wife and two kids. Chester born; family from Kenmare in Ireland and Newton Heath in Manchester. United, obviously.
Plays football, reads the analytics after. Skiing: the greatest thing I have ever done. Gaming since the bedroom-logo days.
Honest by default. My most common edit note is "I don't like it, it's too literal, doesn't sound like me." Everything on this page passed that test.
